Cole Bakkum drove in four runs on three hits to lead Century past Itasca CC 12-3 in game one on Tuesday. Bakkum hit a sacrifice fly in the second for a RBI, hit a solo home run to left field in the fourth, a RBI single in the fifth, and a RBI single in the sixth. Bakkum, Hank Munson, and Joe Hansen at the bottom of the Wood Ducks' lineup combined for eight of the team's 16 hits in their victory. They scored six runs and drove in five. The Wood Ducks opened the scoring in the first after Seth Nelson homered to center field, scoring two runs. Brett Lucko homered to center field, which helped Itasca CC tie the game at two in the top of the second. In the bottom of the second, the Ducks broke up the tie when Munson tripled, scoring one run. Then a sacrifice fly by Bakkum followed to extend the lead to 4-2. A s ingle by Adrian Warcken extended the lead to 5-2 in the bottom of the third inning. Century added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning on four hits. Century piled up 16 hits in the game. Bakkum and Hansen each collected three hits. Munson, Seth Tierney, and Warcken each collected multiple hits. Jake Schmidt earned the win. He surrendered six hits and three runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking three. Tim Buckles and Mason McGowan each came on in relief for the Wood Ducks and shutdown Itasca CC.

Seth Tierney drove in six runs on three hits to lead Century past Itasca CC 9-6 in game two on Tuesday. Tierney doubled in the second scoring three, doubled in the first scoring two, and hit a solo home run to center field in the sixth scoring one. Itasca CC jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Carter Kalin singled, scoring two runs, and Braxton Jorissen doubled, scoring one run. The Ducks tied the game up in the bottom of the first thanks to two doubles. The Ducks tied the game at three on a double by Tierney. Century College flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring five runs on five hits to take an 8-3 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Tierney that drove in three. Century accumulated 11 hits in the game. Tierney and Dom Vogel each collected three hits. Seth Nelson collected two hits for Century in three at bats. Wes Nelson earned the win. He gave up six hits and five runs (three earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking two. Cole Bakkum collected the save going 2.1 innings with five strikeouts, he did not give up a run.
