Baseball team seeded #3 for Region XIII baseball tournament

The 2022 Century College Wood Ducks were seeded #3 for the Region XIII Baseball Tournament that begins May 12, 2022, at the Municipal Athletic Complex in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  Century will face 6th seeded Riverland Community College at 1pm at Joe Faber Field on Thursday, May 12, 2022.

Century finished the 2022 season 29-14 while finishing in 2nd place in the MCAC Southern Division.  The Wood Ducks have won 20 out of its last 21 games heading into the playoffs. The Wood Ducks were led Offensively by Ben Clapp C/3B (.414 16/1/9 44RBI), Noah Drusch IF, (.402 11/2/1 23 RBI) Chris Jacobs OF (.389 7/1/9 44 RBI), and Brayden Bengtson IF (.345 13/1/11 25 RBI). On the Mound, Dylan Immel RHP (5-2 2.25 ERA 41K), Kaden Pfeffer (5-2 1 SV 3.70 47K) , and Isaac Finley (3-0 1 SV 1.52 ERA 27 K), played a big role for the Wood Ducks

The top four teams from the first weekend of region play will advance to the Region XIII Final Four weekend on May 19-21, also at the Municipal Athletic Complex in St. Cloud.   The winner will advance to the NJCAA III World Series in Greeneville, Tennessee. 

Century has qualified for the NJCAA World Series 5 times since 2013.
