Baseball team wins MCAC Southern Division, enters MCAC playoffs

The #5 nationally ranked Century College baseball team captured the 2021 MCAC Southern Division Championship with a 9-3 division record, and 26-6 overall record.   The Wood Ducks now enter the MCAC playoffs as the #2 overall seed and play on Friday, May 14, at 4pm at Joe Faber Field in St Cloud, MN.    The bracket is attached to this press release.

The Wood Ducks hope to advance to the Region XIII/District E Championships held May 20-21, where the winner will advance to the NJCAA DIII World Series in Greeneville, TN May 29 - June 2.  

Century is the defending Region XIII/District E champions from 2019, and they are looking to make their 6th appearance at the NJCAA III World Series in the past 10 years..  The 2020 season was canceled due to Covid.
